Dear Coach Smith,

I hope this email finds you well. My name is John Doe, and I am a left-handed pitcher from ABC High School, graduating in the Class of 2024. I have been researching collegiate baseball programs, and I am very interested in XYZ University because of its strong academics and successful baseball program. I believe that I could contribute to your team and continue to develop as a student-athlete under your guidance.

During my high school career, I have maintained a 3.8 GPA while earning All-State and All-Conference honors in my junior year. I recently participated in the State Baseball Showcase, where I was selected as one of the top 10 left-handed pitchers.

In the coming months, I plan to attend the ABC College Prospect Camp and hope to have the chance to meet you in person.
